Slingshots designers definitely nailed it on the head. The RPM is a joy to ride and so well balanced that it almost flies its self.
We tested the RPM kite for 5 weeks in the BVIs and Puerto Rico, so we have put our time in on it. Every rider was immediately impressed with the smooth sensitivity of the kite. The
RPM stays very still in the window and allows your kite to accelerate at an even pace with your board as you apply pressure to the board. I don't know of one kite out there that can
do this right now. Most kites will pop out front of you and push forward or stall and drag behind. Having the kite be right with you allows you to better plant yourself for many types of
moves from freestyle to ripping the lip off a wave. Furthermore for unhooked riding it is absolutely perfect. The kite sits right where you want it.
The new Slingshot RPM has a super small bridal that has very simple adjustment to suit you riding style. With one easy move of the pigtail you have 4 options of bar pressure. With
one simple move of the leading edge pigtail you can change the angle of attack on the LE and totally change where the kite sits in the window. This is a great feature if you like to
ride wake and want a very deep pull in the kite.
